SandDisk Reveals to The Public a Ulrta Drive combing USB-A and USB-C Connectors

SanDisk has revealed something very interesting at Computex, a Utra Dual Drive USB Type-C drive which features a unique retractable design, the inculdes faster speeds and a much higher capacity. Its most appealing feature is its reversible USB Type-C connector and one standard USB Type A connector. This basically mean I can use it in both iOS and Android devices. This type of setup will allow users to free up space on their mobile device ( smartphones) or, enable users to transfer files between both smartphones and tablets, and even computers. Let's break for a 30 secs and watch this video footage provided by SanDisk and see how this device really works.

As you can see this device would serve a valuable purpose. Its storage capacities will range from 16GB to 128GB and will deliver a high-speed USB 3.1 performance up to 150MB/s of data transfer speeds. The 16GB version will be a little slower at just 130 MB/s.

In measuring this SanDisk Ultra Drive for those curious in its length and width, its just 0.37 x1.50 x0.79-inches and weighs a mere 9.1 grams. The device is compatible with all versions of Windows that includes Windows Vista ( Yes Windows Vista does still exist) and for you Apple users, it compatible with Mac OS X v10.6 or higher. Any user can download the SanDisk Memory Zone app which will easily enable you to organize, browse and back up files right onto any  Android device.

Prices for the SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive will range from $19.99 to $69.99 which I assume is for the 128GB version. Five year warranty is being offered by SanDisk, and is readily available for purchase right now.
