Rumors and Leaks: The Sansung Note 9 Will More Than Likely Feature a Virtual Fingerprint Scanner

Topic: Rumored devices

OK, you know how it goes, flagship smartphones  that's within sights of a launch you should almost always expect rumors and leaks to follow. I for one think these rumors are a concerted effort from manufacturer to heighten anticipation, but digress. If Samsung sticks to the usual script, we should see a Galaxy Note 9 launch in four months, Sept to be exact, and right on Que there are already the rumors and leaked features.

The latest rumor that's buzz worthy is Samsung's upcoming flagship device is expected to sport a virtual fingerprint recognition which will be placed directly underneath the display.  Now I've read rumors in the past that major manufacturers was going to introduce such feature onto their flagship devices,  but we have yet seen it materialize.

But then there is Vivo, a few months back the company debuted an actual under-the-display finger print reader,  the fist in the industry to achieve such feat. Will Samsung actually be second to Vivo to introduce such feature, that remains to be seen

Other features that is rumored to be on the Galaxy Note 9 is a new S-Pen, Crown UX, Bixby 2.0, a 3850mAh battery with 18W fast charge, and upgrades to the camera. Samsung adds a new color option, dubbed "Teddy Brown", interesting color scheme to say the least.

The virtual finger print recognition for me would definitely be the devices main selling point, as with the added battery power. I'm also hoping that maybe, just maybe we'll get something out of Bixby version 2.0, because lets face it,  up until now the digital assistant serves me no useful purpose.

Just a reminder, these are just rumors, half the mentioned features may never appear on the Galaxy Note 9. Still I'm rather stoked with excitement what Samsung have coming down the pipes. Let me know what you think, drop a comment in the box below.

More rumors to come, stay tune....
