Is is possible for a $3 million dollar piece of military equipment be compromise by malware attacks.Apparently so,computers used to control the Drone unmanned aircraft used by the military that carry out military operation have reportedly been infected by a Malware Keylogger application.

Now this where it gets real weird, the military's host based Host-Based Security System detected the Malware two weeks ago by its network administrators which in turn removed the malware, however the malware reappeared right back into the system. There were many attempts by technicians to wipe the computers clean and completely rebuild the entire system from scratch, but the malware keeps reentering the system.

To add to the mystery,no one seems to know how the malware got into the system,or what's its main purpose. The keylogger Malware has thus far already infected both classified and unclassified machines at Creech Air Base which is located in Nevada.Military security specialist haven't determined whether the malware was deliberately introduced into the system or was it human error.

This isn't the first time the Drone's have been subject to attacks, the Reaper and Predator drones were discovered to be compromised by a $26 piece of software that is called a SkyGrabber which allowed Iraqi insurgents to capture the drone's encrypted video footage.
