File-It-Under: A Smartphone revealed By: D.F.Skinner!~
Remember the good ole Blackberry's,everybody including myself wanted one.Having a Blackberry was synopsis with being cool,a symbol of status quo,the Blackberry revolutionized text messaging or shall I say it made text messaging fun.Well somewhere along the line over the years the Blackberry quickly was lost in the shuffle once the iPhone and Android emerged on the scene. In fact, the Blackberry device is no longer the choice device among executives, its the iPhone.Lets face it,Blackberry Rim were a crumbling empire straight to point of oblivion. Here in 2013 are we witnessing a Blackberry comeback? As you well know,Blackberry which is what they are calling themselves now since they dropped RIM from their name held a huge keynote address last week unveiling the Blackberry Z10 and the Blackberry Q 10,but let us focus on the Blackberry Z 10 because that smartphone has a very interesting design, its the more happening, now looking smartphone.
The Blackberry Z 10 has raised interest with many geek pundits like myself, very sleek all black design with curved corners which is similar to the iPhone 5.The internals within the device is rocking a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU ( no specifics on what kind of processor),a hefty 2GB of RAM alongside 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 48GB with the use of a 32GB microSD card.It has the standard Wi-Fi and GPS,Bluetooth 4.0.It also has NFC (a technology that is yet not embedded on the iPhone),it also has gyroscope, ambient light sensor. The smartphone has the standard 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video and a front facing camera.Oh and about the display,it has a 1280 x 768 PPI LCD screen.
With all I have mentioned in the above paragraphs, the question that begs to be answered is this, would you buy the Blackberry Z 10? Is it enough to sway you away from your trustee iPhone and Android devices? Will the new Blackberry devices bring the Blackberry back to prominence? Consumers be on your mark, get set,go.
