AVADirect Mini PC Big Enough To Encase The Titan Graphic Card

File-It-Under: Small factor gaming systems By: D.F.Skinner!~

You know what I love so much about small factor gaming systems, they are small in stature yet packs a punch hardware in such a small chassis, case in point with the AVADirect mini gaming PC. Now mini-ITX gaming systems are a premium,in fact you have a lot of system builders leaning towards building small factor gaming rigs because its easy carry around to LAN parties,so what makes AVADirect Mini PC so special? It has the top graphic card on the planet, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan. This you know is a powerful graphic card that pack a shit load of features (Read my past article profiling the GeForce GTX Titan) that's 10.5- inches in length yet the AVADirect manages to fit this graphic card into compact case.

Aside from mini PC's ability to house the Nvidia GeForce Titan graphic card, what about those specs, the hardware specs in the AVADirect Mini PC is a beast, starting with an Intel Core i7-3770k Quad-Core processor with a 3.5GHz clock speed,8GB of Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM 2 x4GB DDR3 1866MHz / PC3-14900 and throw in the fact this RAM has illuminating LED's,you already know that it has the latest the greatest in graphic card, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan which has a 6GB of GDDR memory. On the storage front, the AVADirect has the OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 240GB as its main boot drive,a Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM as its backup storage drive.Yes there is a optical drive present, which is kind of weird for me to say that in a sarcastic overtone because you slowly are starting to see optical-driveless computers crop up on the market, anyway, the Direct-Mini has a LG Electronics 14x/16x/48x combo Bluray/DVD/CD drive. There is a surprisingly only one Gigabit Ethernet port in a age where we are seeing many high end gaming machines with multiple Ethernet ports, there is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection. The rear ports on the AVADirect mini-PC has 4-USB 2.0 and 4-USB 3.0 ports 3-eSATA 3Gbps ports, for your video display there is an HDMI AND 2 DVI ports.

The chassis design is created by BitFenix Prodigy which measures at 10 x 13.5  x13.5 inches, made solely for Mini-ITX systems, inside the case the system is cooled by the BlackNoise 120mm NB-BlackSilentPro PL-1 Ultra Quiet Fan,the CPU cooling is a Prolimatech Megahalems Rev Heatsink, the AVADirect is powered by a 850 Watts Cooler Master Silent Pro 80 Plus Bronze power supply.

Although you can go on the website and order this system and configure it yourself which will allow you to go with a much cheaper option, this particular system that we are profiling has the top of the line hardware, which comes at a top of the line hefty price of $2,614,you have to factor in the GTX GeForce Titan graphic card that's within the system that cost $1,000 which justifies the hefty price tag.All in all, this is a beast of a gaming system, even amazing is the case ability to encase some pretty impressive hardware.
