File-It-Under: Computer Chassis By:D.F.Skinner!~
You know what I love about most computer cases today, they come stocked with a lot of features and cooling options, the same praises can be addressed towards the Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra PC case.In terms of dimensions, the Blackhawk Ultra is huge coming in at 9 x 45'' x 25''.99, a hefty 36 pounds of weight, but hey that's what you'll get with most high end computer cases,in the case with the Blackhawk chassis judging from the images I've seen online,it has a nice compact design that gives the illusion that the case is actually small.
The star feature of the Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra has to be the endless amount of cooling options that's within the case, the front of the case has 2 x 140mm red LED intake fan (behind the hard drive cage) the rear part of the case has 1 140mm exhaust fan which also support a 120mm fan,on the top part of the case there is 2 x 230mm red LED exhaust fan ( also supports 2 x 180mm), on the side part of the case it has 1 x 230mm red LED intake fan ( also supports 9x 120mm),it even has 1 120mm fan mounted right behind the motherboard tray.Oh but there's more fans, there's 1 x 120mm fan mounted on the bottom of the case, yes the bottom.
In terms of the case I/O ports it is loaded, usually on most computer cases you'll get the basic two 2.0 USB ports, but with the Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra,it has 4 x USB 2.0 and 3 x USB 3.0, throw in the standard headphone and mic jack you have a pretty stocked front panel I/O port. The special features within the Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra are a USB 3.0 via internal header, hotswap SATA drive bays and internal fan hubs. The case supports all motherboard form factors,Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX and a HPTX.
The Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra PC case isn't cheap,it comes in at a $179 price point, which is fairly reasonable considering the many fan options that's granted for you.For your next PC build, would you purchase this PC case? Leave your comments on the box below.
