Haswell processors is the most talked about next gen processor in tech news these days.For those who don't know,Haswell is the next 22nm processor schedule to be release this Fall( or late August) from Intel.This processor of course will replace the current big name processor from Intel code name Ivy Bridge.There are already a number of laptops that is being fitted with the new Haswell processor. According to claims by Chromstroy.com,the next Chromebook from Google will feature the next gen Haswell processor,the Chromebook will be code name "Slippy". The new Chromebook according to reports will make its debut at Computex 2013 in June.
Currently,the Chromebook mostly used a low powered Atom and Celeron processor at 1.7GHz dual-core processor,with a Samsung Exynos 5 SoC all in one case.The Chromebook Pixel broke that trend by introducing a dual-core Core i5 342U processor earlier this year. The new Haswell processor will have a combination of being a powerful processor and extend battery life in notebooks.
