When I saw the ASRock Z87 Extreme11 motherboard on various websites,I said to myself,OK we have yet another Z87 motherboard released to the market, one many dozens. Then I closely read some of the features that's on the motherboard,I was completely blown away.I said to myself this motherboard needs to be discuss with the readers.
So what's got me so excited about this particular motherboard, aside from the wild out design, the Z87 Extreme 11 has a shit load of features, starting with a LS1 3000 chip that combines with a 3X24 expander that provides 16 SAS-SATA 6 Gbps ports right alongside 6 SATA Gbps ports by way of its Z87 Intel chipset, giving you a grand total of 22 SATA ports. I guess one can never have enough SATA ports as this motherboard is truly a storage junkies dream.
Being able to store 22SATA drives isn't the only selling point on ths Z87 Extreme 11, the motherboard features a 4-way Crossfire X , a 4-way SLI support that has Four PCI-e 3.0 slots that contains x8/x8/x8/x8 modes. There's also 2 Thunderbolt connectors, four DDR3 2933 + (OC) DIMM slots, an HDMI output, embedded dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, dual GbE LAN ports.
System builders who love to overclock would appreciate the ASRock's design,it has gold capacitors,a digital PWN, 12-phase power design, 8-layer PCB,multiple filter caps (MFCs), dual-stack MOSFETs.
There is no word on the price point on the Extreme11/ac,nor when will it be available to consumers. Stay tune.
