When the Oppo Find 5 was released last year I said to myself "Why can't all smartphone's (My iPhone in particular) be constructed like the Oppo Find 5,the smartphone is shear perfection in my opinion, this is an epitome of what a well constructed, fully functional smartphone should be, an Oppo Find 5. Fast forward to present day the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has just released the Oppo Find 7 and they spared no expense when drumming up this mobile device as it once again have released the perfect smartphone to the consumer masses.
The star of the show with the Oppo Find 7 has to be its image technology as it is the worlds first smartphone that can take 50MP photos, but there is a catch to this,we'll expand on that in a bit,but first before we get into the overall specs and features of the Oppo Find 7 let us focus our attention on the camera's technology within the Oppo Find 7.
The Oppo Find 7 50 Megapixel images that I mention in the above paragraph is really software driven, the sensor inside the smartphone is actually a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 CMOS (CMOS stands for complementary metal-oxide semiconductor), the software itself is an actual trick. The Oppo Find 7 is embedded with the latest signal processor which is called the Pure Image 2.0 and its the main technology that drives the 50 megapixel "Super Zoom" creation; here's the trick, the camera itself takes 10 consecutive shots in a rapid fashion and then it automatically picks four of its best images and then combines the photo into a 50-megapixel still image, neat trick huh.
The key component in the Oppo Find 7 camera's technology is its 1/3.06-inch IMX214 sensor as it has a 480 megapixel-per-second bandwidth, which is 33 percent faster than the 13-megapixel CMOS chip on the Oppo Find 5, it also rocks a very bright f/2.0 aperture. Oh yeah, did I mention that the smartphone includes 4K video recording at 30 fps (Frames Per Second), slow video at up to 100 fps. It also has a long exposure for up to 32 seconds, HDR-capable GIF creation and RAW mode.
Rounding up the the smartphones hardware specs, the Oppo Find 7 will come in two flavors, the $499 Find 7a will rock a 2.3GHz Sanpdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2800mAh battery and 1080p display. The premium version which is $599 will rock a much faster 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM,32GB of storage, a 3,000mAh, a quad HD 2,560 x 1,440 display. This particular model is the second smartphone on the market to sport a quad HD display (2,560 x 1,440),the other being the Vivo Xplay 3S.
Other features in the Oppo Find 7 not mentioned: the display is covered in the famed Gorilla Glass 3, microSD expansion (up to 128GB), micro-SIM slot,LET radio (For the Chinese,European, and US models :3G only for the Indonesian version) a pulsing "Skyline notification that's placed underneath the chin of the smartphone. It also has the famed award winning MaxxAudio plus Dirac HD audio enhancement and here's something not found in most smartphones it has VOOC rapid charging which is capable of going from zero to 75 percent in just 30 minutes. When you have smartphones that charge at a rapid pace they have a tendency to overheat, but that is not the case with the Oppo Find 7 as it constructed with 5 layers of thermal protective coating, and solid titanium-aluminum alloy frame, crafted in a nano injection molding, this type of build aids in dissipating heat.
If you're interested in the ordering what I consider to be the perfect smartphone, consumers outside of the Great Republic of China can order the Oppo Find 7a online this coming April (mid-April to be exact) or if you're patient and willing to wait you can order the advanced Find 7 this coming May and June.
