This week's "hardware pick of the week" goes to AMD Ryzen 3 3300X and 3100. You can't go wrong with either processor from the Zen 2 lineup, which will offer high performance no matter the PC tasks.

Thus far, this has been somewhat of a big week of product releases and announcements from Google, Apple, and now Microsoft, which has just unveiled its smallest tablet in its Surface tablet product line, the Surface Go 2. The most significant change is the display, slightly bigger, measuring 10.5 inches, up from a 10-inch panel from the original iteration. The size of the Surface Go 2 stays the same, but you'll notice the bezel reduced ever so slightly.

To my surprise, Apple just announced its new 13-inch MacBook Pro, which will have a Magic Keyboard. And will feature an optional 10th Gen processor. You can learn more about that processor in my all you need to know post. Back to the topic at hand, the 13-inch MacBook Pro will start at $1,299.

A few days ago, Intel announced the new lineup of their 10th generation Core "Comet Lake " desktop processor. The new processor puts greater emphasis on core speed, more processing cores, and added threads. While at the same time, offering low prices in comparison to previous-gen CPUs.

It's safe to say we're are officially well into the information age. Just about every device, from smartwatches to PCs and smartphones, store, transmit, and uses data. Sadly, all that information or data flowing via cable and WiFi are susceptible to being hacked. As if now, Nintendo will start disabling user's ability to log in to Nintendo Account via Nintendo Network ID ( NNID for short); this, after several hacking attempts have compromised 160,000 accounts. Nintendo states in quote login IDs and passwords " obtained illegally by some means other than our service, "have been used since the beginning of April to gain access to any accounts.

I'm always intrigued by companies that develop useful tools ( software) that benefit the masses. I'm referring to what Facebook is cooking up with their new Kit, which is an app for the Apple Watch that will allow any individual to keep in close contact with friends without having to address your smartphone. Kit, which is an acronym for keep in touch, will coincide with Facebook messenger and lets anyone send messages with just one single tap, which includes audio recordings, emoji, location sharing, scribbles, or dictation input.

In the midst of what's going on in the world, the last thing I expected was great news from coming to Sony. A few days ago, the tech giant revealed the DualSense PS5 controller that's filled with some intriguing features. The controller will be launched right alongside the PS5 console in late 2020 right before the Xmas shopping season.

Hybrid is the best description you can use for this exciting mixture of mouse and controller. On the right side of the mouse, there's controller style analog joystick. Users can customize it, replacing Omron switches and three different size joystick buttons, enabling hand comfort.

Excellent aesthetics is not what makes a quality CPU cooler. Although you do have some coolers on the market that have a unique construction, it's not entirely just about the design, the importance of functionality should be the primary focus—the CPU coolers innate ability to stabilize the processor under heavy use. Be Quiet, no, I'm not telling you readers to shut up; it is the name of a reputable company that produces quality coolers, PC cases, and power supply units: their latest creation. Shadow Rock 3, has me filled with intrigue.

In 2018, Apple launched the iPad Pro. In my opinion, the tablet is one of the best mobile devices in its entire product line. The iPad Pro offers consumers everything you can ask for in a near-perfect tablet. It has a sleek, simplistic design, and that performs well due in part to its impeccable embedded hardware. And a stunning display that offers crisp and sharp visuals. Yes, the tablet is all that and then some.

While browsing the world wide web, it has come to my discovery Microsoft, the software giant has unveiled the newest version of their DirectX API. Interestingly, a version number will no longer be used. Instead, it will be labeled as DirectX 12 Ultimate. The announcement made before the beginning of DirectX 12 Developer Day 2020.

When it comes to reviewing audio devices, particularly headphones, for me, it can be tricky since I'm not an expert in audio technology. But the ears know the quality sound when I hear it. So the review of the new Galaxy Buds+ will be based solely on a consumer perspective since I did purchase the earbuds with my hard-earned money. Being the owner of the original Galaxy Buds, I can say I’m very impressed with the sound and features. Let's say the compliments most certainly outweigh the negatives.

Lenovo is about to partake in its yearly refresh of its ThinkPad product line. It will happen in just a few months. But interestingly, along with the 10th generation Intel Core chip, AMD Ryzen 4000 Pro ThinkPad will now be optional for consumers. And that's a good thing, considering Ryzen CPU's have garnered raved review since it's inception into the market.

Don't know how many times I've stated product leaks that take place before actual the reveal or launch date are a coordinated effort by companies to heighten anticipation. Create the general buzz that will hopefully boost sales. The PS5 controller patent managed to find its way on to the internet. And of course, the buzz within the tech and gaming community has been generated.

Last week Samsung held its annual unpack event and launched its newest flagship smartphones. I must say, I'm quite impressed with what the South Korean tech giant has to offer. So as a point of reference, we're going to take a close look at the Samsung Galaxy S20 hardware. Even though there are three versions, the S20, S20+and S20-Ultra, all have similar hardware and features. But my gut feelings tell me that consumers will gravitate more to the Galaxy S20. Mainly because of the price, which starts at just $999 while the other Samsung smartphones have a much higher price point.

We all know Apple offers Radeon graphics cards in its computer line but still uses Intel processors. But that may change in the future. According to a hardware leaker@Twitter, post an image of multiple lines of code from the latest macOS Catalina 10.15.4 operating system that suggests Apple may switch to AMD processors.
