Confirmation From Sony Sanpdragon 810 Powered Xperia Z3+ Overheating Issues

I been reading rumors online in recent weeks that Snapdragon 810 system-on-chip are having issues with overheating. The latest smartphone to experience such issues are Sony flagship smartphones the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4, both these headsets have different models in the Japanese market. Sony has directly confirmed that both these smartphones can overheat and will solve the issue with a software update.

At a Netherlands test facility they have revealed that the Xperia Z3+ can overheat when using the smartphones camera or gaming on the device which almost always heavily uses the GPU. When this happens the smartphone gets so hot its unbearable to touch, which ever app is the culprit system crashing follows. Prior to shut down, a message appears on the smartphones display with a warning message saying the temperature of the smartphone is too high.

Sony has acknowledged on a Dutch translated website that a promise software update fix will come sometime this Summer. Updates like this usually are time consuming and more than likely will force the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 to throttle its CPU and GPU.
