What if a GeForce RTX 4080 Super Sport had 20GB of VRAM? It might just happen

The GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards have had a year to marinate in the market. It's about time Nvidia added some enhanced components to their cards. That very well might happen. According to rumors, Nvidia is in the process of developing a Super RTX 40 Series graphics card that will include an RTX 4080 Super Sport with 20GB of VRAM memory.

As reported by VideCardz, information from the RTX4080 and RTX 4070 Super cards are from a known reliable leaker, dubbed Kopite 7kimi. Aside from the added memory capacity, both RTX 40-series Super GPUs are also expected to include a high memory bus, with the RTX 4080 Super which is rumored to have a 320-bit memory bus and the RTX 4070 Super will have a 256-bit memory bus. The RTX 4070 Super is also rumored to expand its VRAM to 16GB.

According to kopite7kimi, they're claiming that the RTX 4070 Super is comparable to an RTX 4070 and a modest improvement over the RTX 4070 Ti. In addition to the RTX 4080 Super, expanded memory will be a minor upgrade.

Now, these latest rumors regarding the RTX 40 series SUPER are just rumors. We won't know what Nvidia has planned; we'll have to wait for an announcement. However, every known leaker from the social space is talking about the RTX 40 series Super GPUs. This makes me think we can expect something from Nvidia in the coming months. I'm going to make a bold prediction: a significant announcement will be made right before Xmas.
