For Unknown Reasons PlayStation Network Accounts are Permanently suspended

You're probably one of many PlayStation console users whose networks are permanently suspended for no reason, and why is the most significant question? Luckily, the issue has gone viral, so that Sony will have a solution. Lets go in depth on what’s really going on.

As reported by The Verge, a barrage of complaints took place on December 4th as users could not log in to their PlayStation Network Accounts. The website IGN also received similar reports from users experiencing the same issue.

Account users would see the following message; "This account is permanently suspended from PlayStation Network due to violations of PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement." When users contact Customer Service, they're told they can't appeal the decision. Customer service is (allegedly) telling users to create a new account without any explanation or assistance.

Although some suspended accounts are warranted, not knowing why some are suspended is concerning. Many, myself included, believe the issue is likely attributed to a bug. However, Sony has yet to release a statement on this issue.

Permanent suspensions ( if accidental) can result in the loss of credited digital purchases, and DLC will also be lost. Creating a new PlayStation Network account will not bring it all black.

Since this problem is being covered on several media outlets, Sony is likely working on an immediate solution.
