New PS5 Update will bring enhancements to Dual-sense controller and more

The PlayStation 5 is not only the world's most popular device but a popular gaming console offering unique features significantly improved over previous Gen consoles. One of the most notable accessories of the PS5 is the DualSense wireless controller, which provides immersive haptic, adaptive triggers and a built-in microphone and speaker. The PS5 DualSense controller offers an enhanced gaming experience, creating an immersive experience in the gaming realm.

However, the PS5 system and DualSense controller are imperfect, and updates are always available for improvements. This brings us to Sony's latest significant move. They recently released a beta update for the PS5 system that will add new enhancements and features for the DualSense controller. Which will include the following;

The Controller speaker enhancements will now produce higher volume sound, allowing the user to hear in-game sounds and voice chat audio with clarity. This will make gaming more realistic and immersive, communicating and coordinating with players online. The noise cancellation will improve mic quality, courtesy of a new AI machine learning. Background noise from button presses and game audio are suppressed, resulting in a better voice chat experience. The update will reduce the annoyance and distraction of unwanted noises, making users' voices more transparent and more audible to others. Finally, there are screen interactions, where users can watch the shared screens in full-screen mode, which can now use pointers and emoji reactions to interact with the host gameplay. Viewers can move a pointer around, send a ping, and even draw a line on the shared screen, allowing users to highlight specific objects or areas to guide the host player more accurately.

The new enhancements and features can only be accessed by selected participants in the beta program, which is expected to roll out globally in the coming months. Since Iā€™m a PS5 user, I will look for the new update and give you my opinion on all the new features once the update drops.
