FSP unveils a new 1000W and 650W Gold Plus unit power supplies

FSP, a Chinese-based company, gained the attention of the tech community when it announced its latest VITA GM ATX 3.1 power supply lineup, which can support up to 1000W and 12V-2X6 power supply connectors.

The latest Vita power supply unit Gold Modular (GM for short) technical standard meets and exceeds desktop computing requirements. The Vita GM series power supplies will deliver Intel's recommended 17ms at 80% load hold-up time in comparison to standard 12ms at 100%; this ensures a stable flow of power and safety, thwarting any sudden power outages, inrush current, and critical power surges. The power supply units boast an efficient power rate of over 90% during typical loads. The Gold Plus series power supplies boast an efficiency rate of over 90% at typical loads.

FSPs will use 105 °C Japanese bulk capacitors, known for their high quality and durability. The additional feature of the VITA GM series is a 120 mm hydraulic bearing fan, providing adequate cooling while sustaining low noise levels. The PSU design is noticeably sleek and compact; its dimensions measure 140 x 150 x 86mm, and it is a suitable option for chassis with limited interior space. Like most current Gold standard power supply units, the VITA GM features advanced, durable power-delivering technology designed explicitly for future-proof hardware. The PSU unit consumer availability options range from 650W to 1000W. Each unit will have an 80 Plus Gold certification, guaranteeing optimal power efficiency.

The US retail price for each unit is the following for the black models: VITA-1000GM $159, VITA-850GM $139, VITA-750VM $119, VITA-650 $99. The white models are VITA-1000GM $ $164, VITA-850GM $ $159, VITA-750GM $ $119, and VITA-650GM $ $99. We don't know which vendor will sell the VITA GM power supply. Update to follow.
