Apple Unveils the New iPad Pro 2024; here what you need to know

Apple unveiled the new iPad Pro, featuring impressive hardware with fast speeds, a high-quality display, and powerful multimedia tools. The latest tablet iteration from Apple is packed with specifications and critical features worth exploring further.

The technical specifications at first glance

The new iPad Pro is powered by Apple's laptop-grade M4 chip, the company's second-generation 3-nanometer technology. It features up to four performance cores for heavy processing and six efficient cores for less resource-intensive applications. Apple states that the tablet will deliver lightning-fast speeds with the M4 chip. The M4 chip promises a 50% faster CPU performance than the M2 in the iPad Pro, offering a significant boost in performance improvements. The M4 has a 10-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh mapping. It is now possible to use potent applications and render high-end games.

The M4 chip includes a new 16-core neural engine that can perform 38 trillion operations per second. Apple claims it is more potent than any other computer’s neural processing unit from Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. The iPad Pro is more than capable of powering onboard AI applications. It’s worth noting that Apple will be including AI technology in its mobile operating system.

Ultra-thin Display

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a vibrant display with a screen resolution of 2,732 x 2,048. It is equipped with Apple's new Ultra Retina XDR display technology, which enhances overall color quality. The display uses two OLED panels to create a Tandem OLED display, making it Apple's most advanced screen technology. The newly implemented technology improves color quality and offers a vibrant viewing experience. Apple claims that the displays are a significant advancement in screen technology.

The Design and Build

The iPad Pro has an ultra-thin and sleek aluminum design, measuring just 5.3mm, and the 13-inch model is even thinner at 5.1mm, making it the company's thinnest produced device.

Availability and Price

The iPad Pro costs $999 for the 11-inch model and $1,299 for the 13-inch model. The color options are Space Black and Classic Silver. Both models are now available for order and will be released next week.
