So we have more significant 2023 CES reveals, this time coming from Amazon, which introduced their all-new Ring Car Cam—expanding their Ring surveillance camera product line.

Thus far, the main attraction at CES 2023 has been the number of feature-rich displays revealed at the trade show. For the record, I'm not at CES 2023 show this year, so I'm getting my source material from the Internet. With that said, Asus has gained my attention by revealing three impressive laptops with hardware updates to the ROG Flow X13, Z13, and X16.

We have our first significant reveal from CES 2023 that has gained traction, and it's from Samsung as they have shown off two new monitors, ViewFinity S9 and Smart Monitor M8 27-inch. Both pro creative monitors will hold solid competition to Apple's own Studio Display.

But no company is gaining traction from their pre-CES reveal than MSI as they have revealed their next-generation gaming laptop with a stunning 17.3-inch display. A Titan GT77 upgrade, with the world's first mini LED gaming laptop that packs 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.

I never thought I would see another 49-inch monitor like Samsung's Odyssey G9. It's a one-of-a-kind curved monitor that is huge and overloaded with features you can't imagine. But competition is about to get heated because has just unveiled their new Think Vision P49w-30 ultra-wide dual QHD display. Much like the Odyssey G9, it's a massively curved display featuring 5120 x 1440 resolution. However, the unique edge goes to Leveno here, as the monitor can daisy-chain two or more displays, offering users a full panoramic view.

Apple just updated their AirTags, addressing a primary issue plaguing users for months, and that's stalking. Once the update is enabled, users can detect when an unknown AirTag is nearby. The Air tag is unfortunately used for nefarious acts, including stalking, and some criminal-minded individuals planted AirTags in cars they intended to steal. One of the primary issues with DDR5 Ram is the high cost, and many processors aren’t compatible with the technology, at least not yet. As a result, many systems are still using DDR4 RAM. Currently, DDR5  though optional, it's preferred with Raptor Lake and Zen 4 processors. But things are about to change. Samsung just revealed that they're developing the industry's first  12-nanometer DDR5 DRAM, hinting that affordable memory is coming in the future.

When you view the mouse specs, essential factors come into consideration, which is the polling rate. What is the polling rate, you ask? It refers to how often the mouse reports its position and other data to your computer, measured in Hertz (Hz). Hertz measures the number of times something occurs in one second. For example, if you have a mouse with a 500 Hz polling rate, this would mean your mouse reports to your computer 500 times. Higher polling rates mean your mouse will often report with less delay, measured in milliseconds.

There's a clear indication that Nvidia has made price cuts to their RTX 4090 and 4080. Unfortunately, the slashed prices are happening only in the Euro market. The reduction in costs is due to an increased value of the Euro compared to the US dollar. This means that AMD's expected launch of the Radeon RX 7900 series in no way impacts price reduction.

I think it's safe to say in 2022; every household will have a digital assistant, from Google Home to Alexa. There are even households that have these devices in every room. I have two myself ( Google Home and Alexa) put to full use. With that said, quite a few still don't have a digital assistant and have a purchasing interest. So if you're considering getting a digital assistant, now would be a good time to buy one. Each brand, Siri, Alexa, and Google Home, are insanely reasonable regarding costs.

At this moment, Microsoft is offering all Windows 11 users a software update preview that solves gaming performance issues. Before the software update, the company had warned users not to upgrade to the 2022 version 22H2 update, released on October 2nd, 2022, as the company noticed a critical bug within the software.

It's not abnormal for manufacturers to recall cars with problematic issues impacting the vehicle's performance. But when you have a massive recall totaling hundreds of thousands, you know you have a severe problem, which is what's happening with Tesla. The company announced two recalls, a recent one occurring in 24 hours. In total, Tesla Motors has recalled up to 321,000 cars. The massive recall is due to malfunctioning tail lights affecting 2020-2023 Model Y abs Model 3 vehicles.
